 ASA Aquadogs Swim Meets

Click here to read about Swimsuit Regulations at USA Meets.

February 6, 2010: Ottumwa Practice Meet - Beach Ottumwa, Ottumwa, IA.  This meet is open to all ASA swimmers (no qualifying times are required).  This is not an official meet, but a nice chance to practice in a meet environment close to home.  Warm-ups start at 8:30 am with the meet starting at 9:00 am.

February 26-28, 2010: Missouri Valley Division II meet - Springfield, MO.  This is the season's most significant championship meet with swimmers with DII qualifying times (http://www.missourivalleyswimming.com/standards/mvs_div12_scy.asp )
All swimmers with DII times are encouraged to attend this meet. Swimming in this meet would count as the championship needed for high school swimmers to begin to qualify for the Missouri Valley Swimming All Academic Team.

March 12-14, 2010: Missouri Valley Divisioin I meet - Garvey Aquatic Center in Wichita, KS.  This is the season's most significant championship meet with swimmers with DI qualifying times (http://www.missourivalleyswimming.com/standards/mvs_div12_scy.asp )
All swimmers with DI times are encouraged to attend this meet. Swimming in this meet would count as the championship needed for high school swimmers to begin to qualify for the Missouri Valley Swimming All Academic Team.

April 16-18, 2010: RSCA Spring Fling - Marquette High School in Chesterfield, MO.  This meet is open to all ASA swimmers 6-14 years of age.  It is a "swim -your - own - age" meet meaning that 11 years olds only swim against 11 year olds (and not also 12 year old swimmers.)

All of the above meets are tentative until our entries are accepted by the host team.  Also, we will need a minimum number of swimmers (typically 5) attending in order to send a coach to these meets.

(Note: As always, I will be glad to sign swimmers up for additional meets if they wish to go, but hopefully all competitive swimmers first will attempt the above meets before adding additional meets. If you want to be informed if someone else is signing up for other meets, please let me know at the beginning of the season and I will attempt to send that information out to you for a very quick turn around response.)
