The recent Aquadog newsletter, by ASA President Melissa Chapman:

WOW!  What a fantastic swim meet today!  Thank you to Andrea and the whole Maag family for your efforts in coordinating and running the event.  Thank you to Aaron Krusniak for running an efficient and fun bull pen.  Thank you to Dan Martin for being an excellent announcer and event planner.   Thank you to Hank Jansen for volunteering to start the races.  Thank you to the  Aquatic Center for being so accomodating and helpful with set up.  A big THANK YOU to all of the parents and family members who volunteered at the meet and helped it to run so smoothly.  Your help was essential and very much appreciated!

Keep an eye out within the next couple of weeks for an email from Andrea Maag with the official results of the meet.   
Mark your calendars:
July 27th is the Show-Me Games.  Sign up on your own for this event at
August 3rd is the River Country Championship.  You must have attended one river country meet in order to qualify for this one.
August 9th marks the end of our summer season.  We will host a splash bash on August 9th at the Aquatic Center from 7-8:30.  Swimmers please bring a snack to share and invite a friend!  Please be sure the friend has a pass or pays admission to the Aquatic Center.  The executive board members will provide drinks, plates, and napkins. 
August 26th marks the start of the academic season and we will plan to have a parent meeting at the shelter house that night during practice.  More information about the fall schedule and the time of the parent meeting will be sent out soon.
