REMEMBER WATER BOTTLES! KEEP AT DECK EDGE!!

Bringing water bottles to practice is a good idea year-round, but especially imperative in this summer heat!  PLEASE do make sure your swimmer brings a water bottle to practice, and instruct them to set the bottle on the deck edge at the end of their pool lane.  That way, they can sip whenever needed (which should be often!) during practice.  (Remember, the pool water is on the outside of their bodies, not the inside, so dehydration is still a real risk.)  If swimmers stay well-hydrated, they will also feel less fatigued and less hungry after swimming.  Drink up!
