Kirksville Community Center Survey

posted Jan 2, 2012, 11:35 AM by Debra Krusniak

Aquadogs -  Please take a moment to read the following letter from Melanie Smith, and complete the associated survey.

Many individuals and groups in Kirksville have expressed interest in the development of a community center.  Based on this, the City of Kirksville is partnering with the Center for Applied Statistical Evaluation (CASE) at Truman State University to develop and implement a needs assessment for Adair County that will determine the level of interest in a community center and what activities and amenities would be important in such a facility.  If the survey results show enough interest, the City Council will begin to look for partnerships, grants and other resources that might assist in the planning and development of a new facility, or changes to existing facilities to meet the needs of our community.

Please take a few minutes to complete this important survey; you can do so electronically or via paper.  To complete your survey electronically, visit A link to the survey will also be located on the City’s Website,  Paper versions of the survey can be picked up and returned at City Hall, Kirksville Aquatic Center, Adair County Public Library or Adair County Family YMCA. Please be sure to complete a survey and have your opinions heard!
