Important Information about Truman Practices

Pershing Arena is still under construction and access to the Natatorium is limited to one entrance on the west. This entrance can be reached from Franklin by following the drive next to Red Barn which leads to a small parking lot. (Parents wanting to stay may need to park across the street.) Upon entering the building, swimmers should turn right and enter the Nat through a storage closet. Parents should turn left and proceed up the stairs to the viewing balcony.

The locker rooms are currently closed and the closest restrooms are in the gym. Therefore, swimmers should arrive dressed in their swimsuits and be prepared to put sweats, etc. on over their suits after practice.

The first practice, on Saturday Oct. 9th,  is very important since the coaches will be certifying swimmers for racing dives. Swimmers may not dive at Truman practices or at swim meets until they have been certified. Click below for more information from USA Swimming detailing certification.
