Aquadog Mock Meet at Truman on Saturday, Oct. 30th!

Our next Inter-squad Mock Meet will be at the Truman Natatorium this Saturday, Oct. 30th, 2010, from 1:30pm-3:30pm (please note the extended time). This meet will be a very low-stress chance for new swimmers to experience how a typical swim meet works, and, as they will be swimming against teammates, there can be friendly competition, too. This meet is a great way for swimmers to show off to their families the progress they’ve made in swimming this year. Please try to attend if you can—the meet should be a lot of fun for the swimmers and their families. There is NO COST to participate.

Pershing Building is currently under renovation and access to the natatorium is limited to one entrance on the west. This entrance can be reached from Franklin by following the drive next to the red barn which leads to a small parking lot. Unfortunately, the lot will be closed to all auto traffic on the 30th, since Truman has a game and the visiting team's buses will be parked there. So parents wanting to stay or walk their swimmers to the door will need to park across the street. Upon entering the building, swimmers should turn right and enter the natatorium through a storage closet. Parents should turn left and proceed up the stairs to the viewing balcony.
